Job Description
As a licensed apprentice plumber with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support Commercial, and/or residential (Schools, Hospitals, Multi-Family, Hotels, etc.) sites in the Dallas, TX area.
In this Electrical role, you’ll earn “up to” $28/hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
- Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
- Install and maintain water supply systems in new structures
- Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
- Install new fixtures or replace faulty fixtures (warranty work)
- Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Valid Texas apprentice license
- 3+ years experience
- Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
- Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Reliable transportation
- Tools of the trade
- Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc)
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
