Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring for asphalt layers on projects in the Myrtle Beach / Galivants Ferry, SC area. The Asphalt paver will be operating a will assist in the pouring, smoothing, and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots.
Pay: $18/hr
Responsibilities
- Assist in the pouring, smoothing, and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots.
- Duties also include raking, working with a rumbler, sweeping, and lining out the roads.
- Working alongside the tractor, mill, paver, and the screed.
Qualifications & Experience
- * 1+ years experience in asphalt work.
- * Jobs vary in terms of size but work will be consistently on and off.
- * Need standard PPE and steel toed boots.
- * Parking at company office.
- * Must be able to pass a background package and a drug test.
