Job Description
As an Assembler with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support a sign manufacturing company in San Antonio, TX. You will conduct final wiring and assembly of electrical sign components. In this temporary to permanent opportunity, you’ll earn $17-$19 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits. Responsibilities
- Basic production assembly
- Work primarily with low voltage lighting and power supplies
- Heavy use of handheld drills, wire strippers and other light hand tools
- Take painted or near completed product, place LED or Fluorescent tubing and complete assembly of sign
- Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve production problems
- Distribute materials, supplies, and subassemblies to work areas.
- Maintain work machines and tools
- Clean and maintain work area
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working on Assembly or a related position
- Ability to work 50-55 hours per week
- Ability to follow instruction both oral and written
- Have prior knowledge of using most power tools
- Must have all of your own tools and the ability to bring them on site
- Have basic knowledge of wiring and how to install them
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Position requires standing during majority of shift
- Drug screen required
- Background check required
