Job Description
As a Building Maintenance Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support a general contractor at corporate park in Kent WA. Responsibilities
Work Week Hours: M-F, 5am-1:30pm
- Perform light electrical, light plumbing, patching and spackling of drywall
- Complete some minor carpentry and construction as well as hardware install
- Follow safety protocols
- Handle repairs and improvements for tenants or common area amenities.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance that may include light bulb changes, minor plumbing repairs, roof leaks, etc.
- Consistently maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with tenants, co-workers and the general public, at all times, on or off the property.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have valid WA State drivers license to be able to move from building to building
- Must have 1 year or more of building maintenance experience
- Recent construction/commercial building maintenance experience
- Have tools of the trade and ability to bring them to jobsite
- Work references that speak to your maintenance experience
The hourly rate for this position is $27.00-$28.50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
