Cabinet Installer

Overview

Responsibilities

Duties Include:

• Installing cabinets by measuring and cutting them to size, drilling holes, and screwing them into place
• Installing countertops, backsplashes, sinks, faucets, and other parts of the cabinet assembly process
• Installing custom cabinets such as entertainment centers, pantries, armoires, bookcases, and other units designed for specific rooms in a house
• Installing plumbing fixtures such as toilets, faucets, and showerheads
• Cutting wood or other materials as needed to complete the job
• Installing custom cabinets such as entertainment centers, pantries, armoires, bookcases, and other units designed for specific rooms in a house
• Installing wallboard and sheetrock using hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws
• Cutting sheets of material using a table saw or circular saw
• Installing flooring materials such as carpet, tile, or hardwood

Qualifications & Experience

• Requirements:
• - Must have previous experience working as a carpenter.
• - Must be familiar with carpentry concepts
• - Must be familiar with carpentry tools
• - Must be familiar with construction safety practices
