Job Description
As a Carpenter framer with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support carpentry contractors through out Fort Myers, FL and surrounding areas. In this full time role, you’ll earn $20-24 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of framing structures
- Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand and power tools
- Assemble and install framing structures, including walls, floors, and roofs
- Install windows, doors, and other fixtures
- Inspect and repair damaged framing structures
- Ensure that all work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and engineers, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Framing Carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry heavy materials
