Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking commercial carpenters This role could include but not limited to Framing, trim work, punch work, hanging fixtures, and drywall repair in a commercial setting. Pay is between 23-30 depending on expereince.
We are seeking Carpenters who have their own hand tools for example squares, levels, and chisels, as well as some power tools, such as sanders, circular saws, compact drill, nail guns, etc. Enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with metal and wood framing and roof truss components
- Using hand or electric tools
- understanding blueprints and drawings
- Helping place and secure wood during the building process
- Being confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work
- MUST have full PPE (Hard hat, Safety Glasses, Gloves, High Visibility Vest, and Steel Toed Boots)
- MUST come dressed in appropriate clothing
Qualifications & Experience
- -Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
- - In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area
- - Strong scheduling and blueprint reading skills as well as knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material
- - Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite
- - References that will verify your professional skills and experience
- - Reliable transportation to and from job site
- - Must have steel toed work boots and all PPE's
- - OSHA-10 Construction Certification preferred, not required
- - Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
