Job Description
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Remove concrete using electric chipping hammers
- Digging, grading, and preparing job sites
- Setting and stripping concrete forms
- Tying and placing reinforcing steel (rebar) and wire mesh
- Pouring, spreading, and leveling concrete
- Raking, shoveling, and vibrating concrete to remove air pockets
- Cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas
- Assisting with excavation and backfilling
- Following blueprints, measurements, and supervisor instructions
- Assisting finishers with screeding, floating, edging, and troweling
Responsibilities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs.
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attendance record and punctuality.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required (if applicable).
The hourly rate for this position is $$26/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
