PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experience Operations Division seeks a Maintenance Mechanic Specialist
Responsibilities
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory’s Facilities & Operations Division seeks a Maintenance Mechanic Specialist to join our Crane/Rigging and Fleet team. Members of this team are responsible for operating heavy material handling equipment to lift, move, and position equipment, parts, and materials critical for the lab’s scientific and operational needs. In this position, you will perform maintenance, repair, and installations of complex mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic systems and equipment. The work involves a variety of trade skills and/or specialized skills appropriate to the equipment. In addition to the Maintenance Mechanic Specialist duties, this position is expected perform all of the duties described in the Maintenance Mechanics specification. Ad here to appropriate internal and external environmental safety and health, policies, guidelines, and requirements. This position reports to the Facilities Service Manager for Crane/Rigging and Fleet unit
Qualifications & Experience
- · Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Mechanic Specialist
- · Must be at least 18 years old
- · Operating heavy material
