As a Drywall Finisher & Painter with PRST, you'll support a general contractor on a commercial site in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities:
· Shift: Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat 8-10 hrs/day,( excluding Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday)
· Assist with hanging any additional drywall that needs to be installed.
· Secure drywall panels by taping and applying joint compound over seams, screws, and nail holes.
· Install metal or vinyl corner beads to protect corners and create clean edges.
· Sand and smooth out the compound to create a flat, seamless surface ready for painting.
· Apply additional coats of compound ("skim coat") to achieve a final smooth finish and repair any cracks or damage. Inspect work before moving to painting.
· Apply masking tape and protective coverings to block off areas that should not be painted.
· Select the appropriate spray nozzle and use industry techniques to apply a smooth, even coat of material.
· Maintain tools, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order.
· Follow state and local safety regulations per OSHA guidelines.

Job Posting Qualifications:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• 2 years minimum prior experience in Drywall Finish & Spray Coat Painting required
• OSHA-10 Certification is not required, but a plus.
• Experience working from ladders is required or experience with stilts is preferred.
• Ability to bring a minimum of these tools: Drill, Utility knife, tape measure, level, carpenters pencil, Hammer/Mallet, Scraper/trowel, 5 Gallon Bucket
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
The hourly rate for this position is $32.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
