Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently seeking duct insulators for commercial projects in Jacksonville, FL!
Responsibilities
- Installs insulation on steam, hot water, chill water, refrigeration lines, piping and fittings, and air conditioning ducts
- Measures, computes, and determines the correct type of insulation needed for jobs; provides orders for materials required
- Apply sealants, caulking, and other protective coating
- Works from ladders and scaffolds
- Skill in the use of standard tools and equipment of the insulating trade

Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years insulation experience
- Layout common patterns (Tee, Endcap, Bevel, Unequal Tee)
- Know correct materials and sizes for each application
- Apply jacketing on straight lines and fittings
- Capable of installing insulation correctly
- Must have tools of the trade, PPE and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week
