Job Description
People Ready Skilled Trades is seeking a TDLR licensed journeyman electrician for inspecting solar sites around the Wichita Falls area. The ideal candidate will travel up to 5 sites in a day with a city inspector to inspect and update any necessary changes.
Pay is $33/hr with a TDLR license
Responsibilities
• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualifications:
- * Prior experience on commercial or solar field installations.
- * Minimum seven years of experience on commercial or residential construction sites
- * In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area
- * Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems – for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multimeter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action
- * Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite
- * References that will verify your professional skills and experience
