POSITION: Concrete Form Setter and Equipment Operator in Willis
LOCATION: Willis, TX mostly
PAY: up to $29-$32/hour

PRST is hiring a Concrete Form & Finish Tradesperson that has experience Operating Heavy Equipment to support a General Contractor on a water treatment facility project in Willis, TX. This job is primarily doing concrete form setting and finishing work but will also require heavy equipment operating, but only when needed. Work will mostly be in Willis, but there is an additional job site in Fulshear, TX that the associate will drive and work at only when needed, approximately 5-10% of the time. Responsibilities:
? Shift: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5:30 pm (5X10’s)
? Building concrete forms according to the blueprints and Supervisor instructions.
? Use hand and power tools to measure, cut and build the concrete wood forms.
? Operate 140 Excavator and Mini Excavator for underground work.
? Operate Grader to level and smooth the surface prior to concrete.
? Install and tie rebar ensuring a snug fit with no movement when pouring.
? Pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed.
? Carpenters will need to assist with installing plastic pipe during downtime.
? Some Finish Work as well later down the road of the project.
Responsibilities
Pay:
• $28 to $32/hr.
• Pay is determined by previous experience.
Qualifications:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must have 5 years MINIMUM experience with concrete form, finish, & rebar work.
• Must have your own tools and the ability to bring them on site.
• 5 years MINIMUM of previous experience in Equipment Operating is REQUIRED.
• Must have experience using an Excavator, Mini Excavator, and Grader.
• All experience MUST be 5 years in the last 10 years.
• Must have good situational awareness.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• OSHA-10 Construction Certification is a plus but not required.
• Position does REQUIRE a drug screen.
The hourly rate for this position is $$29-$31/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
