Job Description
As an experience Residential electrician with People Ready Skilled Trades, you’ll support a network of contractors in Charlotte North Carolina and surrounding areas. In this role, you should be able to Read and understand residential electrical blueprints, as well as following NEC code, having experience or an understanding of Electric vehicle install is a plus but not required.
In this short-term role, you’ll earn $26-$33 an hour depending on experience, and enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits, and a flexible work schedule. You can also earn more with our Respect the Craft tradesperson recognition program!

Responsibilities
- Electric vehicle Charger install
- Knowledge and understanding NEC code
- Other Electrical tasks such as wire, install, terminate, and troubleshoot
Qualifications & Experience
- -Residential experience minimum 5 years
- - understand NEC code
- -EV install preferred not required
- - Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
- - Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite
- - Reliable transportation to and from job site
- - Must have all PPE
- - OSHA-10 Construction Certification preferred, not required
- - Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
