Carpenters who can complete rough to finish work, framing, insulate office buildings, install drywall, fixtures and appliances in residential units. Responsibilities
· Install metal and wood framing and roof truss components, reading and understanding blueprints and schematics, using hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install framework components
· Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props, using hand tools
· Shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
· Install doors, windows, stairs, baseboards, and crown molding
· Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
· Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
· Always maintain safety practices
· Prepare the layout and scope of work for the project
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus
Qualifications & Experience
- • Must have at least 4 years of Carpentry or more to be considered
- • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- • Must have own tools for the job assigned
- • Verifiable work history that confirms your professional skills and experience
- • Some assignments have additional screening requirements, such as background checks and/or drug screenings
