Job Description
People Ready Skilled Trades is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm installer. This candidate will understand the fire code and perform fire alarm installation from start to finish. The candidate must be able to read and interpret approved fire alarm drawings. pull fire wire. install devices & program fire alarm panel. Responsibilities
Understands the fire code.
Perform fire alarm installation from start to finish:
Read and interpret approved fire alarm drawings.
Pull fire wire.
Install devices.
Install and program fire alarm panel.
Trouble shoot system.
Instruct crew on proper installation.
Capable of training crew.
Walk required inspections with AHJ.
Clean DMV record – Will eventually drive company vehicle.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum one year experience on commercial or residential construction sites.
- Able to perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems (Ex. when an outlet is not working, using a multimeter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action)
- If a motor stops working, performing tests to settle the cause of its failure and then fixing or replacing the
