Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for an HVAC superintendent in Asheville NC. In this role you will be a in charge of overseeing HVAC projects. Some responsibilities include managing all on site aspects of HVAC install, safety management, quality and ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner. This is a permanent position, and we are looking for someone who is motivated, driven, and ambitious to work in a commercial construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HVAC projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution
- Identify and resolve project-related issues
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel
- Ensure that HVAC installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports and progress reports
- Perform various tasks as they arise
Qualifications & Experience
- -Minimum 8 years' experience as an HVAC Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects
- -knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- -leadership and team management skills.
- -understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
- -communication and interpersonal skills.
- -interpret construction plans and specifications.
- -have OSHA 10 or greater safety certification
- -HVAC-related certifications and licenses not required but preferred
- -Reliable transportation
