Job Description
- Perform daily preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment throughout school facilities on Fort Campbell Army Base
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues on commercial HVAC systems
- Service and repair split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust systems, and associated controls
- Inspect equipment, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions
- Replace defective components including motors, contactors, relays, capacitors, belts, filters, and controls
- Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak detection procedures in accordance with EPA regulations
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and work orders
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable building codes, OSHA standards, and contract requirements
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency service calls as required
Responsibilities
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum 5+ years of HVAC service and maintenance experience
- EPA Type I Certification
- EPA Type II Certification
- EPA Universal Certification
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation
- Have full PPE, tools of the trade and bring them to work daily

The hourly rate for this position is $$28.00 - $35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
