Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for an industrial carpenter to work on projects located in Augusta, GA. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys a variety of projects, and can work independently or as part of a crew. Each day begins by meeting at our shop before heading out to different industrial job sites in the area, so flexibility and reliability are key. This position is paying up to $27 an hour (based on experience).
Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including formwork, framing, finishing, and painting

Assist with concrete pouring and other general construction duties as needed

Travel with the crew to various industrial job sites from the shop each day

Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times

Work efficiently to meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship
Responsibilities
Proven experience as an industrial or construction carpenter
Ability to read and understand blueprints accurately
Must have reliable transportation to the shop, own tools, and proper PPE
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Dependable, punctual, and able to work full-time (40 hours per week)
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
