Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring for a Journey Level MIG Welder in Sun Valley, CA. In this temporary role, you’ll earn between $35 to $40 per hour DOE, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits, and a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Inside shop setting. MIG Welding. Gas.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Must be good with saw cutting steel tubing at specific lengths.
- Working with square tube stainless steel welding for custom made structures for the Superbowl stage/displays.
- Set up MIG welding machines, adjust settings like voltage, amperage, and gas flow rate, and operate the equipment to join metal pieces.
- Use the MIG welding process to fuse metal parts, create joints, and fill seams to meet specifications.
- Inspect welds for defects like cracks or porosity and ensure the finished product meets all quality and technical standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and troubleshoot any problems that arise.

Responsibilities
The hourly rate for this position is $40/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
