Job Description
As Journeyman Commercial Custom Glazier with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support a network of residential and commercial customers in Frankfort, IL. Responsibilities
Hours: 8am-5pm
Commercial / residential custom work
Glazier, re-glaze, replacement glass for both commercial and residential, custom glass shower doors
In-shop work - glass cutting
Working in-shop, performing custom residential and commercial glazier jobs
Review cutting sheets and drawing sets
Measure, install, replace glass items and shower doors
Build dividers, display cases and other custom work
Maintain clean, organized and tidy work area
Perform by removing, repairing and replacing glass
Follow directions and instructions of work flow
Complete tasks and work within daily requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Have minimum 6+years custom and commercial glazier experience
- Possess valid driver's license
- Willingness to work in-shop setting
- Ability to read blueprints and custom drawings
- Be adept with math skills and measuring
- Safely handle up to 75lbs alone and manage up to 100+lbs when setting glass
- Knowledgeable with all types of sealant work and processes
- Feel comfortable with manual and physical labor
- Position requires a Tier 1 background check with Motor Vehicle Registration clearance
- Travel may be required several times a year
- All travel paid for including food and board
