Job Description
As a Lighting Event Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support an Exhibition set up in Downtown Boston . In this temporary role, you’ll earn $23/hr an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. This position is located in Downtown Boston, public transportation is strongly recommended – parking is limited. Project is about 2+ weeks long.

Responsibilities
- Hours: 2+ Week Project 40+ hours
- Stage Lighting Technicians can read and implement a light plot; hang lighting fixtures and run cables neatly and securely.
- Predominant instruments are lekos, PARs, minis, zooms, etc.
- Comfortable with work at heights when using a small ladder
Qualifications & Experience
- • Be at least 18+ years of age
- • Certification or a willingness to obtain it
- • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- • Experience in theatrical, live events, and concert lighting is required, not film lighting.
- • Experience in operating a scissor lift is required.
- The hourly rate for this position is $$23/hr/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
