Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently seeking Low Voltage Electricians for a project involving the installation of CAT 6 cable throughout an apartment building. The primary responsibilities include pulling CAT 6 cable and terminating modular ends of the cable. Pay is based on experience and ranges from $24 / HOUR – $26 / HOUR. Apply Now!!!
Responsibilities
- Pulling CAT 6 cable according to project specifications and requirements.
- Terminating modular ends of the cable to ensure proper connectivity.
- Working throughout the apartment building to complete cable installation.
- Using a 12ft ladder for access to elevated areas.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Utilizing basic hand tools, snips, and Sharpie for cable installation tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in CAT 6 cable installation preferred.
- Familiarity with cable termination techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work safely at heights using a 12ft ladder.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cable installation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to adhere to project timelines and schedules.
