Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Low Voltage Electricians for a local Palm Beach county contractor. Project locations are throughout Palm Beach county and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, such as security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring
- Performs preventative maintenance on cameras, monitors, and other hardware
- Punching down and terminating cable
- Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve issues
- Performs complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits for low-voltage power distribution products and systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of low voltage electrical experience
- Experience with installation and maintenance of security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to and from shop location on a daily basis
- Possess tools of the trade
