Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is currently looking for an experienced Low Voltage Technician for a commercial construction project in Glendale Arizona. As an experienced Plumber with PRST, you’ll support commercial and residential projects throughout Phoenix Metro Area. In this role, you’ll earn $22 – $26 an hour and enjoy weekly pay and health insurance benefits. Responsibilities
*Perform professional-grade data terminations (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber) including patch panels, keystone jacks, and field connectors.
*Work independently in IDFs and MDFs, reading and interpreting cable layouts and documentation.
*Route, label, and test cables according to industry standards (TIA/EIA).
*Use tools such as cable testers, toners, punch-down tools, and fiber splicing tools if required.
*Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in structured cabling and data terminations.
- Proven ability to work effectively inside IDF environments with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of cabling standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with labeling, documentation, and cable certification processes.
- Must have basic hand tools, specialized tools a plus.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- OSHA-10 Certification (we offer complimentary training if needed)
The hourly rate for this position is $/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
