Job Description
Long term, full time project with asphalt company within the Sarasota/Bradenton areas.
Could be permanent for the right person. Willing to train the right applicants that are reliable, dependable and eager to learn and grown within the asphalt industry.
Responsibilities
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Directing traffic around construction sites
- Informing motorists regarding detours
- Placing construction signs and traffic cones
- Communicating with construction workers and flagger colleagues
- Working with the construction crew on various tasks
- Utilizing asphalt heavy equipment like pavers, rollers, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous flagging and asphalt experience a plus!
- Must be open to flexible scheduling that will include hours outside of traditional first shift
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
