Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced mechanical assembler for a temp to perm opportunity in Fort Worth. Must be able to work M-TH 5am-2:30pm and Friday 5am-1:30pm, occasionally there will be 10-12 hour work days. Must have tools or willing to acquire them. Must be willing to work in inclement weather. 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience, preferred. Pay is $24-26/hour, depending on experience. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Works independently. Performs a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing.
- Assembly process may include fitting, mounting, alignment, adjusting, operational testing, repairs, in-depth troubleshooting and diagnosing, and training of other personnel.
- May hand-assemble detonating devices and other explosive products.
- Operates and regulates rotary presses and other automated equipment. Inputs pertinent data into computers controlling the rotary presses and other automated equipment.

Hydraulic offset wrenches 3/8"- 2" (Harbor freight and northern tool have a good set)
Standard Wrenches 3/8"- 1" (sometimes metric are required)
Screw driver set (Phillips and Flat)

Small sledge hammer (3 lb)
Rubber mallet or a dead blow
1/4 drive sockets and ratchet
3/8 drive sockets and ratchet
1/2 drive sockets and ratchet
3/8 drive pneumatic impact
