Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Overview

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial and production machinery and equipment 
• Perform preventative maintenance 
• Rebuild and maintain electronics 
• Read mechanical prints and electrical diagrams 
• Electrical tasks- troubleshoot and replace- AC & DC drives, temperature controls, Start/Stop electrical controls, PLC’s, and electrical circuits. Read electrical, building, machine and flow diagram prints

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years of previous relevant experience required
• Familiarity with production machinery
• Able to read blueprints
• Possess strong computer and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to stoop, bend, and crouch, and to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsite daily
• Able to work all required hours and days, overtime as needed
• Background and drug test required
• The hourly rate for this position is $25-30/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
