Job Description
As Flat Metal Roofer with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support government contractors throughout ELLSWORTH AFB, South Dakota. In this full time role, you’ll earn $30-32 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. If you are a traveler, you will receive $125 daily for 7 days a week. For locals, you will receive $25 daily for gas.

Responsibilities
- Hours: 6x10's, Monday-Saturday, 40+hours
- Install, repair, and maintain flat metal roofing systems on commercial and residential buildings.
- Measure and cut metal roofing materials to fit specific dimensions.
- Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing of roofing systems.
- Inspect roofs for signs of damage or wear and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project specifications are met.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18+ years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card required
- Proven experience as a flat metal roofer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of different types of metal roofing materials and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with safety practices and regulations in roofing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- The hourly rate for this position is $30-32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
