Metal Roof Installer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Hours: 6x10's, Monday-Saturday, 40+hours
• Install, repair, and maintain flat metal roofing systems on commercial and residential buildings.
• Measure and cut metal roofing materials to fit specific dimensions.
• Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing of roofing systems.
• Inspect roofs for signs of damage or wear and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project specifications are met.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Be at least 18+ years of age
• Must be able to pass a background check
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card required
• Proven experience as a flat metal roofer or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of different types of metal roofing materials and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with safety practices and regulations in roofing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• The hourly rate for this position is $30-32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
