Job Description
We currently have several long, term full-time + OT OVERNIGHT SKILLED LABORER positions open in Fort Myers, FL.
Candidates must have their own transportation and tools, a valid driver’s license, as well as hands-on experience with drywall, paint and light finish carpentry or carpentry punchwork.
Responsibilities
SHIFT
Overnight
Sunday thru Friday 8pm to 7am (averages over 56 hours weekly)
Qualifications:
- Must be physically able to lift 50 lb. bags & buckets of materials.
- Work well as a team member with other laborers, and enjoy working outdoors year round.
- Prefer work experience in construction.
- Valid Florida drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Unload and carry materials at construction sites
- Clean up site from debris and discarded material
- Ability to erect concrete forms and scaffolding preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to mix and Pour Concrete and Asphalt preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge on how to direct and control traffic
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment
- Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance
- Must be willing to complete manual labor
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers
- Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism
Qualifications & Experience
- Employees will be required to work on various construction sites. Must be able to work on feet, lift and move various items. Working at heights with tie-offs.
