Job Description
Technician with painting, staining and sanding experience. Must be able to reach and adhere to labels, safety warnings and guidelines of all tools and products. Must be capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with clients, co-workers and management. Attention to detail. Must be able to safely operate various equipment and tools at the project site. Pay rate $20 – $25 depending upon experience. Temp to Perm Opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Prepping the surrounding areas with tape, plastic, tarps, protective paper, etc.
- Removing door hardware.
- Removing door from hinges.
- Stripping of paint or stain from doors.
- Sanding with hand sander or sandpaper.
- Applying cleaning products, wood conditioners and primers when needed.
- Applying various stains, finishes and paint to wood, fiberglass and iron doors, garages, fences, lanterns, sconces, or other structures.
- Mixing and applying stain.
- Moving material around jobsite as assigned
- Keeping the jobsite clean.
- Must be capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with clients, co-workers and management.
- Attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience
- Carpentry experience a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
