Job Description

This role is responsible for leading maintenance operations, ensuring the reliability of production equipment, and supporting compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

The Lead Mechanic will supervise a team of mechanics and technicians, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and partner with production and quality teams to maintain smooth, efficient, and safe operations.

Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of food and supplement manufacturing equipment, including: Mixers, blenders, encapsulation machines, tablet presses, coating machines, and packaging lines. Conveyors, pumps, dryers, and automated filling/labeling systems.

Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge to resolve equipment malfunctions.

Partner with engineering and production to optimize equipment performance and improve efficiency.

Ensure proper calibration and adjustment of equipment to maintain product quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
The hourly rate for this position is $35 - 45/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
