PRST is hiring a Skilled Laborer for a large commercial project. As an experienced Skilled Laborer with PRST, you’ll support an Installation company in Katy, TX. In this role, you’ll earn $23 an hour and enjoy weekly pay and health insurance benefits. Responsibilities
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts - Evening shift: 4 pm to 2:30 am
• Review with team to determine where to work that day.
• Measure, mark, and install security locks on each door.
• Change mounted security cameras as needed.
• Perform tasks correctly with your own power tools for each installation.
• Use leveling equipment such as levels and lasers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per state and federal protocols.
• Follow all instructions, both oral and written, given by the supervisor
• Ability to commute to multiple job sites, moving on to the next site, once completed.
Qualifications & Experience
- • Be at least 18 years of age
- • Prior verifiable experience as a commercial laborer, with 3 years minimum in the last 5 years – REQUIRED
- • Ability to bring your own cordless power drill - REQUIRED
- • Personal transportation is required for associate as this job could have a different location each week. – REQUIRED
- • Position does require a background check - REQUIRED
- • Ability to work the evening shift, 4 pm to 2:30 am. – REQUIRED
- • OSHA-10 is a plus, but not required.
- • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- • Position could require a drug screen
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
