Solar Workers assemble, install, move, and maintain solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. They are the key to the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.
This job will require you to work outdoors in ALL KINDS of WEATHER, applicants should be prepared for that kind of work.
Responsibilities
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules.
- Connecting installed solar panels to existing electrical systems and checking electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of terminations.
- Organizing and maintaining system components.
- Maintaining documentation of completed installations.
- Applying weather sealing to array, building, or support mechanisms.
- Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions.
- Materials staging. General job site clean up and organization.
- Safety - All things Safety.
Qualifications & Experience
- 18 years of age with valid ID.
- Construction site experience a plus.
- Tools will be provided by our customer - Steel Toed Boots and hot/cold weather gear are your requirement.
- This work is not for the faint of heart - Strong work ethic and positive attitude will serve you well.
- Hard working and reliable.
- Able to lift up to 50+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Able to meet additional screening requirements when applicable.
