SOLAR Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Overview

Responsibilities

• Terminate Combiner Boxes
• Installing solar panels - working all aspects of the project from AC/DC Wiring, String Wire, actual Installation of the Solar PV Modules, and Motor Controllers.
• Knowledge of solar materials, including modules, inverters, and monitoring systems.
• AC/DC Wiring and String Wire.
• Proficiency in electrical and switch gear wiring.
• Panel/LV work
• Layout, bend, thread and install conduit
• Trench with shovel and install PVC raceway
• Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire
• Supervise the work of apprentices
• Perform electrical testing and commissiong
• Comprehend / adhere to company policy safe work practices

Qualifications & Experience

• 18 years of age with a valid ID.
• Current/Valid State Journeyman Electrician License or Reciprocating License.
• Have tools of the trade and be able to bring them to job with you.
• References to verify your professional skills and experience - A resume.
• Able to lift up to 50+ lbs and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Reliable and able to work the assigned shift.
• Safety must always be your FIRST priority.
• Able to pass additional screens when applicable.
• Additional electricians tools will be provided by the customer - Steel Toed Boots and Hot/Cold Weather Gear are your requirement.
• This work is not for the faint of heart - Strong Work Ethic and Positive Attitude will serve you well.
• Hard working and reliable.
