Responsibilities

• Working outdoors in appropriate safety and protective equipment
• Operating heavy equipment safely via hand signals, radio communication, and using occupant safety devices
• Ability to complete an operator test prior to starting the project
• Preforming pre-operation checks of equipment
• Completing and maintaining equipment log sheets

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be willing to complete a background check since this project is located on a military base. Current schedule is 5 days a week, 10 hour shifts. You must be willing to work a flexible work schedule since the start time can change based on weather and the tide. Prior to starting you will be required to completed an operator test to receive authorization to operate. This project is located on a military base, so a background check is required. In order to receive access to the base you will need to provide 2 forms of ID, including a valid drivers license if you are driving, valid vehicle insurance, and valid vehicle registration.
