Journeyman Carpenter

Overview

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Measure, cut, and assemble building components like walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, doors, and windows.
• Install finishing materials such as trim, molding, drywall, and flooring.
• Perform framing work for structures like walls, roofs, and other load-bearing elements.
• Operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely.
• Collaborate with other trades to coordinate installation of building systems.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Rough in, Trim

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have at least 5 Years recent Carpentry experience.
• Must have Tools of the Trade
• Must have reliable Transportation
• The hourly rate for this position is $25-$30/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
