Overview

Responsibilities

Organizes the work force; assigns, oversees and follows up on performance of work Provides leadership direction and motivation of employees

Establish quality control standards and supervise implementation

Keep accurate field notes and produce daily reports

Assist in the coordination and maintenance of equipment required for the Yard

Assist in coordinating, directing, and scheduling the work by subcontractors Prepare weekly payroll correctly cost coded

Enforce all Federal, State, and Company safety rules

Assist in the development Work Element Plans, and JSA's

Conduct site safety and planning meetings and participate in Near Miss reporting Develop/establish checklists for inspections, audits, emergency response, hurricane preparations, etc.

Ensures compliance with Manson's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct. Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 to 10 years construction industry experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must have leadership skills including strong communication skills, excellent time management, organizational and delegation skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work plans, technical procedures, and governmental regulations Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratio, and proportions to practical situations.
• OSHA and First Aid/CPR certifications required. Valid picture identification required. Valid Transportation Workers identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility is a requirement for this position..
