You will have 30 days from the date of your first paycheck to complete your benefits enrollment appointment. If you miss your window, your next opportunity will be during our annual open enrollment event held in October/November for coverage effective the following January or if you experience a qualifying life event such as a marriage or birth of a child.
A week after receiving your first paycheck, you can schedule a 30-minute appointment with a benefit counselor to discuss your available benefits and enroll in coverage.
Remember, your eligibility information will only be updated with our providers a week after you receive your first paycheck. Schedule your appointment by calling 888.583.7575, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, or online through this scheduling link. We believe that making the most informed decisions about your benefit options is important for you and your family. Respect the Craft
As a tradesperson with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you are automatically enrolled in our Respect the Craft program. This program was created to celebrate and reward our tradespeople for their hard work, share their stories and recognize their dedication to their careers, PeopleReady Skilled Trades and our customers.
Along with month-long Respect the Craft celebrations every May, our Milestone Rewards program offers our tradespeople the gear, equipment and tools they need to succeed in the trades – from jackets and work boots to drills and nail guns. The more hours you work with us, the more milestones you hit and prizes you’ll earn. The best part: Since these recognitions reset each year, you can continue to hit milestones and win prizes year after year.
Pay, W-2 & Employment Verification FAQs
How do I get paid?
We offer two methods: direct deposit and Wisely cards for quick and easy payment.
Our Wisely card is a reloadable prepaid card that works just like a credit card but doesn’t require you to have a bank account. This pay card is loaded once your payment is calculated and processed. Speak with your local team to learn more about these options.
View the Wisely Cash Card Full Cardholder Agreement and Wisely Card Fee Schedule.
How soon can I get paid?
Most of our jobs offer weekly pay.
Payroll runs Monday to Sunday. Our payroll department processes hours on Mondays. The Wisely pay card will be funded on Monday’s once payroll has been processed. There is no specific time guarantee that hours are processed on Mondays; payroll processes until around 7 p.m. EST.
Direct Deposits still go through your bank’s direct deposit process and your account will be funded based on your bank’s processing time.
Please click here for a payroll process example and ensure that all highlighted areas of your timecard are completed and submitted on time.
