Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Assembly Carpenters for an exciting project in Jersey City involving the detailed assembly of exhibits and the installation of graphic panels. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-visibility project in a creative, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:

Unload exhibit components from trucks and move them into the gallery space.

Assemble various elements of the exhibit according to blueprints and specifications.

Tasks include constructing wall structures, installing metal components, display cases, modular and interactive elements.

Ensure all components are aligned, secured, and fully functional.
Graphic Panel Installation

Accurately align and mount graphic panels to exhibit structures or gallery walls.

Work with different mounting systems to ensure a clean, professional, and visually precise presentation.

Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the installation process.
Responsibilities
Minimum 3+ years of experience in carpentry, exhibit installation, or similar trades.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed assembly instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.
Must adhere to all safety protocols and project timelines.
The hourly rate for this position is $34.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
