Job Description

As a Carpenter with PRST in this role you will support on new construction projects installing windows and doors with precision and care. This role requires proficiency with carpentry tools, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship. Responsibilities

  • Install and fit windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials using hand and power tools.
  • Remove old windows/doors and prepare surfaces for new installations.
  • Ensure proper insulation, sealing, and weatherproofing around installed units.
  • Align and secure frames, sashes, hardware, and glass.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with contractors, builders, or project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a finish carpenter or similar role (windows/doors a plus).
  • Familiarity with standard carpentry tools and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Good physical condition; ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable with strong problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00-$29.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
