Responsibilities
WORK SCHEDULE: 5 X 10's
"Highly Preferred Criteria: Previous experience with construction of AutoStore System or similar storage systems."

- Install, wire, and connect electrical systems for automated machinery, robotic systems, conveyor systems, and other critical production equipment
- Configure and install electrical panels, control systems, and related components according to detailed electrical schematics and technical specifications
- Conduct system integration, ensuring seamless operation between electrical systems and mechanical equipment
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and troubleshoot electrical failures in automated machinery, motors, control circuits, and panel wiring
- Repair or replace damaged components, including sensors, switches, relays, transformers, circuit boards, and wiring, restoring electrical systems to full operational status
- Utilize advanced testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation resistance testers, etc.) to identify root causes of electrical issues and ensure high system uptime
- Monitor the performance of electrical systems, identifying potential issues through trend analysis and diagnostic tools to minimize unplanned downtime
- Assist in the development and execution of predictive maintenance schedules, ensuring components such as PLCs, VFDs, and motor control centers remain functional and efficient
- Wire and assemble electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control circuits, and PLC-based control systems
- Interact with HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems, troubleshooting input/output issues and ensuring optimal communication between PLCs and other devices
- Update and maintain PLC software and firmware, ensuring compatibility with other systems and equipment
- Ensure that all electrical installations and repairs comply with local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices (NEC, NFPA 70E, etc.)
- Adhere to strict lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, electrical safety protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have OSHA 10 certification
- Have extensive experience with electrical systems, automation controls, and electrical troubleshooting, preferably in industrial or automotive environments
- Proficiency in programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), HMIs, and control systems
- Expertise in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers, and electrical fault detection equipment
- In-depth understanding of electrical safety regulations, including NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, or with heavy equipment as required by the job
- Ability to work at least 40 hours a week and overtime if needed
- Have tools of the trade and bring them to work daily
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00-$30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
