Responsibilities
Diagnostic - Perform diagnostic and service calls to identify and resolve plumbing issues on commercial job sites.
Installation and Repair- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems in accordance with commercial plumbing code specifications.
Preventive Maintenance- Identify potential issues to prevent premature breakdowns and callbacks.
System Maintenance- Maintain and repair plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel for heating, cooling, lubricating, and other process piping systems.
Inspections- Inspect high-pressure systems, including air, steam, water, and gas, to detect and address malfunctions.
Fixture Repair and Replacement- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, and test joints and pipe systems to ensure proper functionality.
Blueprint Interpretation - Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements and ensure accurate installation on commercial projects.
40/week, 4, 10 hour days Monday-Thursday
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18+ years of age
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber, with a focus on commercial plumbing projects.
- In-depth understanding of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Prior experience using Hand tools, Power tools required
- Need to have all necessary plumbing tools
- Position may require a drug screen
- Background check required
- The hourly rate for this position is $29-$32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
