Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking skilled commercial painters who know how to show up, own their work, and deliver quality every single day to assist our commercial contractors in Jacksonville, FL. and the surrounding areas. We’re looking for tradespeople who can prep, cut-in, brush & roll, and handle HVLP sprayers when the job calls for it. This isn’t a training gig—you need to know your craft and bring the right attitude along with your tools, day in and day out. In this full-time role, you’ll earn up to $25 an hour, based on experience, enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits.

Responsibilities
HOURS: Multiple 8-hour shifts (day & night)
- Surface prep, masking, sanding, and patching to ensure professional finish
- Precise cut-in work, brushing, and rolling on commercial projects
- Operate HVLP sprayers safely and effectively when needed
- Follow specifications for production painting (experience highly preferred)
- Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work practices on site
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be eligible to work in the U.S
- Must bring tools of the trade to work daily (brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.)
- Must have and wear full PPE on every shift
- Be able to work at least 40 hours a week ab handle work with precision under deadlines
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
