PRST is currently hiring Journeyman Plumbers for a large commercial construction project in the North Houston Area. As an experienced Plumber with PRST, you’ll support large scale commercial projects throughout Houston area. In this role, you’ll earn $28 – $38 an hour and enjoy weekly pay and health insurance benefits. Responsibilities
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hour workdays, 40 hours/week, OT as needed
• Review blueprints and schematics to determine work to be done per customer specifications.
• Measure and cut materials as needed using hand and power tools.
• Perform all phases of plumbing, including underground work to top outs and fixtures.
• Maintain a professional attitude and work to troubleshoot any unforeseen issues.
• Perform solder and brazing on copper pipes as needed.
• Follow all safety protocol per OSHA standards.
• Complete tasks promptly and efficiently while following all instructions both oral and written.
Qualifications & Experience
- • Current TSBPE Plumber license.
- • OSHA-10 Construction Certification – MUST have the card!!
- • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial plumbing
- • Ability to bring all your own hand and power tools on site, including those specific to plumbing.
- • Prior experience with solder and brazing is preferred.
- • Position does require a drug screen.
- • Position does require a background check.

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00-$38.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
