Job Description

Responsibilities

Installing new plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including pipes, toilets, sinks, drains, and water heaters; repairing leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues
Performing routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems, cleaning drains, and performing preventative maintenance
Interpreting blueprints and building specifications to accurately layout plumbing systems
Ensuring all plumbing work adheres to local building codes and regulations
Diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing problems within large-scale commercial plumbing systems

Qualifications & Experience

2+ years experience in the commercial plumbing trade
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of plumbing systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
Experience with a variety of plumbing tools and equipment
Reliable transportation to and from work
Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to the jobsite
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00-$32.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
