Concrete Carpenter

Overview

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape and install wood or metal concrete forms using nails or other fasteners.
• Read blueprints and build forms accordingly.
• Drill holes in materials.
• Build and assemble forms for pouring concrete
• Cut, shape, and join materials using carpentry tools and techniques
• Verify dimensions, level, and alignment of forms
• Install reinforcing materials such as rebar and wire mesh
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Concrete Form Carpenter in heavy commercial and industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems and concrete pouring techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans
• Proficient in using hand and power tools associated with carpentry work
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols and adherence to industry standards
• The hourly rate for this position is $19-32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
