Responsibilities
- Hours: Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 Hour Week
- JOB DUTIES: Working in unison with the Pipers on new addition
- PARKING: Off Site
- TOOLS: Standard SM2 Tools
- OSHA: OSHA 10 Required
- Background Check Needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current and active Connecticut SM2 or SM1 Journeyman Sheet Metal License required
- OSHA 10 Certification (issued within the last 5 years) or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Ability to check refrigerants and other HVAC components using gauges and meters
- Skilled in installing rigid and flexible ductwork, as well as ceiling and wall HVAC vents
- Proficient in using hand tools and benders to fabricate sheet metal parts, cold boxes, and HVAC assemblies
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) required
- Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and walking for long periods
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in commercial HVAC/sheet metal installations required
- Must have experience using standard sheet metal hand tools
The hourly rate for this position is $47.00-$48.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
