Job Description

As a Skilled Construction Laborer with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support General Contractors throughout the Montecito, CA area as well as other locations in Santa Barbara County. In this temporary role, you’ll earn $22.00 – $24.00 an hour DOE, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits, and a flexible work schedule.

Haul debris and remove hazards from the construction area.
Dig trenches and pits.
Set up and take down scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures.
Load, unload, and transport building materials.
Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools.
Perform general upkeep like sweeping & cleaning of the job site.
Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks .
Direct traffic for the safety of workers and the public.

Responsibilities

- E-Verify: Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Minimum 1 year of experience on commercial and/or residential construction sites required.

- Reliable transportation to and from the job sites.

- Have your own basic hand tools and power tools.

- OSHA 10 certification.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
