Job Description
Position: Convention Worker
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Job Type: On-Call / Event-Based (Open Availability Preferred)
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking Convention Workers to support event and convention projects in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves assisting electrical helpers and supporting the setup and tear down of convention booths. Shifts are based on event schedules and may vary week to week. Open availability is strongly preferred.
Job Duties:
Assist electrical helpers with event-related electrical tasks
Support installation of temporary power and lighting components
Assist with set-up and tear-down of convention booths
Lift and carry rolled-up electrical cables safely and efficiently
Load, unload, and stage materials and equipment
Assemble and disassemble booth structures
Perform general site cleanup during and after events
Follow all site safety rules and instructions
Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Tools Required / Highly Recommended:
Plug tester
Pliers
Electrician scissors
Wire strippers
25-foot tape measure
Qualifications:
No experience required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
The hourly rate for this position is $18-$18/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
